Buzz

This is my picture for Illustration Friday the theme is buzz. "Buzz" was drawn on the back of the January 2 page of my "Get Fuzzy" desk calendar with a Gel-roller.

This is a picture of me in the old days. (Late 80's.) Back then, for me, it was all about getting a buzz on and I was pretty damn good at it. Back then I was a good friend of the room spins.

Now, I only get drunk by accident. Like; "Oops! I accidentally drank three beers while playing poker." or, "Whoops! I didn't realize I ordered a 48oz beer!"

  • The closest thing I ever came to being accidentally drunk was when I was in the army and had a shot of everclear (in a tall glass of kool-aid.) I crawled over to a couch and woke up sometime the next afternoon.

    I have not told anyone but i accidentally got drunk while visiting old friends where there was a big party-later on my head was all over the sink and crying in front of a mirror. Silly silly me!

  • I was thinking of doing a 'Buzz Beer' illo, but found, upon research, that Buzz Beer really exists. I suppose your illo could referred to as a 'Get Fuzzy Buzz'. Nice job though.

  • The Unknown got accidentally drunk once in Vermillion, Montana when the bar across the street from the bad Chinese restaurant we ate in accidentally had 75 cent beers and $1.50 shots of Jaegermeister. You held yours better than any of the others though. :-)
