Strings 2
BWhahahahahahahahahahaha... eh. Anyone remember this old joke?
This is my second picture for this week's Illustration Friday theme Strings. "Strings 2" was drawn on a piece of scrap paper using a Faber-Castle 3-H pencil, inked in with a Faber-Castle fine tip artist pen and the text was added using Photoshop Elements.
This old joke popped into my head while I was watching football. So, I decided to do a quick sketch.
Do you remember any old jokes? Do you want to leave me some love?

OMG! That joke STILL stays with me! Especially when I hear someone say, "I'm a frayed-knot!" LOLOLOL! Great job!

Ha! Yes, I do remember that one!
Right up there with the three-legged dog that stumped into town..."Looking for the man who shot my paw!"
Great take on the theme!

I've actually never heard this one before. I therefore think it's pretty funny, and you illustrated it perfectly. Love.

I hadn't heard it either, so I laughed too :) My dad used to always tell me the one "What's black and white and red all over" and the answer was either a newspaper, or a zebra with a sunburn, whichever answer I didn't say :)

Guess you can't keep an old joke buried away forever. I actually think the joke works better as a cartoon, so well done.

detlef: We recycle everything else. Why not old jokes?
Me too kind of and thanks. :-)

I am so so so bad at remembering jokes, the only one i remember is something about a panda that eats shoots and leaves, but i am pretty sure that is a grammer joke so it figures. sending saved up love. by the way your strings painting is really fantastic. you really should do a series of those... i mean acrylic paintings of your avatar
