Camouflage
This is my picture for Illustration Friday the theme is camouflage. “Camouflage” was drawn on the back of the June 20 page of my “Get Fuzzy” desk calendar using a Faber-Castle 3-H pencil, inked in with my Gel-Roller and colored in PhotoStudio.
This was just the first thing that popped into my head.
No time to talk now. I’ve got a big show tonight!
Do you like to remain hidden? Do you want to leave me some love?

this made me laugh so hard i almost peed my pants. i'm coughing and honking like an old woman.
i don't know what's funnier; him trying to get his hands around that camera, or the expression on the birds face!

"Art bespeaks the beauty and truth of all ages" I think Mirabeau B. Lamar said that or either he chiseled it on the side of the Jr. College I went to in an early attempt at graphitti. I just thought you might enjoy that quote. Great cartooning and immortal blogging as always!

I laughed out loud... great take on the subject and the birds expression is priceless!

lol! I love the way the leaves are tied on and the little added touch of the flower. But I do think the bird was suspicious of the camera. Maybe a leaf on the fingers would have helped.
Cute, very cute.

Actually, I was trying to draw the picture so it looked like the guy had cut down the tree, to hide from the bird. I guess I should have made that more obvious.
