Spring
NOT AN INDOOR SPORT
This is my picture for Illustration Friday the theme is Spring. "Spring" was drawn on a piece of multi-purpose copy paper then colored and cleaned up in Photoshop.
Ahh... Spring. I stepped outside to get a whiff of spring air, inhaled deeply and almost drown. I forgot it was still raining.
Do you love spring? Will you love me?

I used to love spring but after that I'm afraid of it...
love anyway
...and my word verif is dxlthud. I guess that's what happens if your high speed cable connection "crashes" (or pogo sticking guys fall out of the ceiling).

BTW, did you know that mp and me were getting married... no! not together, silly. Go on my blog, you'll see...

Aw you beat me to it - only I was trying to draw someone springing on a skate board - I won't give away who but I know someone who tried that...

Your work always brings a smile to my face. I agree that its hilarious that the pogo stick has not been dropped yet. Great job! Love!
By Lou, at 06:54
ha-ha-ha! I could never pogo and feel a slight resentment toward it, that and the hula hoop!
Darn all those who can! hee-hee.

Keep up the good work.

I hope there's a cemetery close by-I think your gonna need a head. That does look like a lot of fun though, well until the moment of impact I guess. Ahh, always like to start spring out with a big LOL.

You are always an original! Try full contact origami for indoor sport next time. Love the image. Much love.

By atomicvelvetsigh, at 19:01
Well, you did it.
You made me snort tea out my nose.
This illo reminds me of some of my less-successful adventures. So hard being dared into things...
Must. Get. More. Sense.
Love it, very funny and creative!
By Lori Witzel, at 20:30
Hmm. Something tells me if you lifted up the shirt of the pogo stick jumper there would be a tell-tale odd patch of hair. Drawing from personal experiences now eh? Brought a smile, good job.

I think spring is great and it's beginning where I am. This made me smile though I would'nt try it. You need a shorter spring or you'll leave an obvious trail where you've been, unless you're outside obviously.
WellSprungLove.

Brilliant... thanks for the warning! Knowing me... I'd probably end up in the ceiling too.... unless of course I fell off it first. Either way... me + pogo stick = disaster

Ah yes! I remember way back 20 years ago when I lived in Stumptown--it rained in the Spring--a lot. It also rained in the fall, and winter, AND in the summer (a little). This would be a great interpretation of Spring for a webfoot--unless one was inclined to do another rain pic. :>)
By Robert McLaughlin, at 12:42
I could never get that high on one of those!
By String, at 13:05
Good thing there wasn't a window nearby. Nice job.
By Tony Sarrecchia, at 19:09
Yes, Spring has sprung... as has that guy's neck. Getting here late in the week... you already have 50+ loves. Love your love of Spring. Hang in there. Peace and love.
By Twisselman, at 19:55
Love it. pogo'ing is not for indoors! My daughter once pogo'ed for over a thousand bounces. I can only manage two or three before I fall off.
Love.

By Larry Lee, at 22:03
I think I would pay for this to happen to some people. *G*

You know, dork is such a harsh word. I think on the island, the castaways all called Gilligan " Little Buddy ". Doesn't that sound better? Ha-ha. Hope you enjoyed your time off. love
